I just realized I completely overlooked sharing the fact that my second book project where I was involved as a Technical Editor was released this February. Better late than never though
The book titled “Powershell for SQL Server Essentials” provides a pretty thorough introduction and understanding on how to use PowerShell inside Sql Server to automate many tasks. The book should be helpful for beginners as well as people having experience with PowerShell and Sql Server (independently or together), as it provides some very useful scripts for automating some of the more common Sql Server monitoring and administrator tasks. The book has been authored by Sql Server MVP Donabel Santos, and I got involved as a Technical Editor as already mentioned.
